Join us for San Francisco TYPO3 CAMP • May 6-12, 2010

Come join BayTUG for the first San Francisco TYPO3 Camp. We have five days of TRAININGS and TALKS coming to the Bay Area in the week leading up to the TYPO3 North American Conference in Dallas. We will be joined by luminaries from Europe's TYPO3 community as well as leaders from the US who will share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the world's leading enterprise open source content management system.

  • Aldo Bermudez
    Sr. Manager, Web Publishing at Cisco Systems
  • Benjamin Mack
    Benjamin Mack first got in touch with TYPO3 in 2003 while working as an editor and integrator on web portals. During his studies of computer science he got to know more of the complexity and the power of TYPO3. In 2007 he first contributed to the TYPO3 project by recreating the TYPO3 "page tree" with advanced AJAX functionality. Today, Benni runs his own company in Stuttgart, Germany, and works as a consultant for various agencies around the globe. He is part of the TYPO3 Core Team and also the release manager of the upcoming TYPO3 version 4.4. Check out his blog a typo3tricks.com.
  • Joachim Mathes
    Is a PHP/TYPO3 developer at punkt.de Karlsruhe. He studied computer science at the University of Karlsruhe (Dipl.-Inform.) with philosophy as a minor.

Open Source in the Enterprise (Cisco/WebEX): What's new with TYPO3 4.4

  • Aldo Bermudez of Cisco/WebEx will talk about the business process that drove WebEX to use TYPO3 over proprietary solutions.
  • The next update for TYPO3, version 4.4, is planned for June 2010. The main goals for this version are to make TYPO3 easier to use and to fix all the little flaws that are still out there. In this presentation you'll get to know the most important changes as well as a sneak peek on what is planned for 4.5. Presented by Benjamin Mack the release manager for TYPO3 4.4.
