Web Producer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, super-organized, creative problem-solver to join our team as our new web producer. In this entry-level position, you’ll own the production process from start to finish, and will be held accountable for engaging with clients, ensuring project requirements are clearly and comprehensively documented, schedules are met and stakeholders are kept informed of project status, managing ecommerce / digital content, and acting as the liaison between the development and business teams.

You’ll be able to multitask and deliver high-quality work on time, and will draw daily on your strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills for the best possible results.

You’ll serve as our cross-functional “command central,” helping our clients to achieve the goals of their online brand, and enabling Infield Design to achieve its daily and long-term goals as well.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicates to the ID team organization and executes tasks related to client strategy, ensuring operational initiatives are aligned.
  • Supports clients and developers by investigating site issues, potentially a result of data anomalies/issues.
  • Creates, manages and ensures all production schedule deliverables are on time, and executed at the highest level of quality
  • Builds and maintains relationships based on thorough planning, pro-active/timely and professional communication, and intelligent problem-solving with both clients and internal staff.
  • Acts as an advocate for our web production team
  • Assesses operational plans and technical changes to the site; makes decisions based on organizational capacity and brand impact.
  • Supports and optimizes the operational effectiveness of the production pipeline, identifying opportunities for process change, and acting as an internal champion of the pipeline.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of system capabilities
  • Is a technical resource, sets priorities to satisfy business commitments and SLAs.
  • Maintains documentation of systems and tools, ensuring complete and accurate records of processes and systems
  • Trains clients and new employees on internal tools and processes
  • Stays current with ID technologies and functionality
  • Manages and builds strong talent within the team, assisting team members in meeting their professional goals.


Required Skills:

  • BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • A proven track record in content production is critical to success of this role
  • Experience and understanding of web production and development within an agency environment.
  • 1-2 years of product and marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership, strategic thinking and organizational planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in people management.
  • Highly process-oriented with skills in defining operational processes, project management, and prioritization
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and understand issues related to both the internal and external customer, and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills.
  • A strong interest in learning new systems and technologies
  • A willingness to take on new challenges
  • Familiarity with basic multimedia and web technologies including Photoshop, InDesign, HTML, JavaScript, Flash.

Front-End Developer/Designer

Infield Design is looking for an entry level front-end developer/designer who is passionate about coding and producing beautifully functional results.

The qualified candidate will be able to collaborate with designers and art directors, developers and project managers in order to deliver the best possible product with the fewest surprises along the way, write clean, standards-compliant code, use common JS frameworks and be proud of elegant solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with designers and art directors to translate work into HTML/CSS/JS.
  • Code email campaigns.
  • Produce and maintain templates and content with a variety of systems. (TYPO3, Magento, Wordpress)
  • Develop and maintain pages and template systems.
  • Write clean cross-browser compatible semantic code.
  • Work closely with producers and account manager to solve client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent CSS/XHTML skills
  • Strong design skills

  • Able to produce clean Javascript (jQuery and similar)
