The next meeting of the Bay Area TYPO3 Users Group will take place on February 21st from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Infield Design Offices. Join us for presentations and informal question and answer session. People new to TYPO3 are encouraged to join us, and we'll give an introduction to TYPO3 to help get you going.

This month we'll take a look at some new templating tools:

• Grid Elements - The Grid Elements extension is an intuitive drag-and-drop interface for the TYPO3 backend. We will cover how to install and use grid elements. • FLUID templates - Fluid will be the standard templating engine used in the TYPO3 v5 project. It is also available in TYPO3 v4 since version 4.3. There will be a quick overview of FLUID. How to use it for page layouts and in extensions. [http://forge.typo3.org/projects/package-typ...]
• FED (Fluid Extbase Development Framework) -  We'll give a quick tour of FED, a collection of features integrating Extbase and Fluid even further with TYPO3. Here's a library of helpful functions for FLUID and ExtBase. [http://fedext.net]
